Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan, WI, is truly a magical place. We have been here multiple times now and we highly recommend the trip. You can spend a whole day exploring the many gardens at this wonderful thought out place. Guessing what book each garden is inspired by and taking a moment to grab a book from the book nooks and enjoy a leisure read. There are many friendly readers through out the gardens as well, ready to tell a story and enjoy a story time with you. Many activities to be enjoyed as well; from watering plants, to playing instruments, writing a note to a tree mouse, digging up dinosaur bones and many more hands on fun. If you are lucky or plan ahead there are many special events, at one of our visits there was an exciting concert by Judy Stock, she was so clever and wonderful. Make sure to pack a picnic and enjoy your lunch through out the gardens or at the comfortable secret garden patio. Set a date and go explore Bookworm Gardens a FREE amazing place, donations are always welcomed to help maintain this beautiful place.

We recently went to a birthday party at Lakeview Park in Middleton, WI, what a great park. It is really well planned out with a small lake, picnic areas, 3 playgrounds and a awesome splash pad. There is also hiking trails and many sport courts or sport activities to do. Pack a picnic and spend a day outdoors enjoying this beautiful park.
If you have time you can also have a mini golf adventure at Vitense Golfland, what a neat place and it is open late – in Madison!
