A Twist on Guacamole & Chips!

This weekend we had cut out some egg shapes into pita bread and had some pieces left over, so we decided to use it as inspiration. Here is what we came up with. . .

Baked Pita Chips & Olive Styled Guacamole:

Baked Pita Chips:
-preheat oven to 400 degrees
-brush olive oil on pita bread that is spread onto a oven pan
-dash sea salt over pita bread
-bake for 7-10 minutes
-let cool

-slice open an avocado and scoop out avocado into a bowl
-mash avocado and season
-season to taste with sea salt, oregano, basil and garlic (using fresh herbs is always a plus)
-squeeze about a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice into mixture and mix all together
-fold in a handful of your favorite olives and capers that have been coated in olive oli
-optional, top with some feta cheese

We loved this combo and even took some over for grandma and doudou as a treat, super yummy!!
