Hiking & General Store Fun
Take in the beautiful spring weather with a hike in the Kettle Moraine forest. Afterwards head down the road to LaGrange General Store – Backyard Bikes & Ski W6098 Highway 12 (Highway 12 and County H) Whitewater, WI. for lunch and a cozy break. LaGrange General Store has been one of our favorite spots for a long time, we love its little charm!

Winery & Mad-Town Strolling
Take a trip to Botham Vineyards & Winery 8180 Langberry Rd. Barneveld, WI. This beautiful vineyard set in preserved grounds that hold a historic farm house and circa-1900 hung barn which houses the tasting room, gallery, gift shop and back-barn lounge. After take a 35 minute drive to Downtown Madison and stroll around enjoying great shops and tasty places to eat.
Castle in the Hills & Tea
Take a trip to the castle in the hills Holly Hill 1525 Carmel Road Hubertus, WI. Holy Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also a Wisconsin State Landmark. Holy Hill is a place of worship for Catholics as well as a monastery and attracts a diverse group of people from all over for its history, architecture and much more. The drive to Holly Hill is spectacular and peaceful and sets on over 400 acres of beautiful grounds. Make it a tea picnic day at the castle and bring tea, juice, mini sandwiches, fruit, veggies and your favorite snacks.
